This weekend was more of a family weekend: we stayed at my parents home with the family and had a nice time together.
Sunday we went to church for the Christmas celebration. We were looking around to see, if there was any new people from the neighbourhood, since we had been giving out invitation the previous Sunday. Sadly, we didn’t see any new people, but the house was full of lovely people that I know. We were talking about it with my wife, that it’s a big step for people to come to church on their own, if they are not used to do that. Some people had said week before very happily, that they really will try to come. Still, we pray that God uses that small outreach for his Kingdom in some other way.
I also got to pray for 3 people who were healed (: One was a youngster, whose finger got healed, then there was two ladies, who got healed from back pain and neck pain. I also prayed for a young father of 4 children, who has had a muscle disease for a long time, but it didn’t get healed. We will pray again the next time we will see. Also there was another lady that I prayed for few times, but she wasn’t healed and she also believed, that it’s not yet her time to be healed. I believe, that if Jesus would’ve been there, they all would have been healed!
I also talked with two iranian ladies and other of them, S., prophesied to me and my wife: “Jesus stands between you two and his hand is on your shoulders. You are full of light, you can just go on. Wherever you two will go, Jesus is before you and fills you with his Holy Spirit. He blesses you. The words you will need, when you go out I will put in your mind and in your heart. You’ll have a happy and lively (green) life. Jesus loves your hearts. You both are servants of God. I will make you fishers of men.” It was an ecouraging word for me, since the last two months I’ve wanted to give my all to be obidient to what Jesus said in the gospels and to be a fisher of men. I felt that God confirmed that He is with us and wants to bless us.
On Sunday evening we had a Christmas dinner with my parents, my brother and 3 guests from our church (a couple, whose son had died, and an elderly lady).
On Monday we saw a movie Lifestyle Christianity from Todd White and also a story of a nearly blind boy, whose sight was healed when Todd White prayed. We hadn’t seen much videos from him, but we liked what we saw. We were again very excited about the “real life” we all should have! AMEN!! It was great to see, how on the story of the nearly blind boy Todd loved the family through physical healing of the boy, but also practically by going to buy clothes for all of their many children. That’s a great example! Though, my wife and I also talked, that when people are ready to pray for Jesus to come to their heart, it’s very important to also tell them, that they should repent from their sins and get baptised, like Jesus preached since the start of his ministry: From then on Jesus began to preach, “Repent of your sins and turn to God, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near.” -Matt. 4:17 and like Peter preached on the pentecost: Peter’s words pierced their hearts, and they said to him and to the other apostles, “Brothers, what should we do?” Peter replied, “Each of you must repent of your sins and turn to God, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. This promise is to you, to your children, and to those far away —all who have been called by the Lord our God.” -Acts. 2:38-39
We also heard from my mother that an unbelieving neighbour, that I prayed for a week before was still pain free and very happy about that! My mom and dad agreed with her that they will ask her over to tell more about God and how they came to realize that God is real and interested in their lives. So nice! 😀 If she wants to become a christain, my mom will be ready to disciple her!
