Thursday I had to be in Tampere. In my free time I thought it would be nice to go “to the streets/shopping malls, etc…” with some fellow disciples. I checked the TLRMAP and made some plans with the guys who were free at that time.
These are some highlights:
1. During my walk I had to think on the next verse:
But how can they call on someone if they haven’t trusted in him? And how can they trust in someone if they haven’t heard about him? And how can they hear about someone if no one is proclaiming him? And how can people proclaim him unless God sends them? — as the Tanakh puts it, “How beautiful are the feet of those announcing good news about good things!”
Romans (Rom) 10:14-15 CJB
If we want to reach the lost we have to go to the place where you find them! Not just rejoice with the saved ones in the church(buildings?). So here I went 🙂
This shopping mall I had to be. Here I met with my friend and fellow disciple and we went together to Babar’s kitchen. A well known eating place ran by a fellow believer! This guy joined our table and had a lot of pain in his back. I could pray for it and after some prayers (maybe 7 times) all his pain was gone. This guy knows the power of Jesus and was led as being a Muslim to Christ by dreams he had at night. Wonderful story’s he can tell about how Christ has changed his life from being a drug dealer to a totally sober man on fire for God! Amazing 🙂
Btw, one of his work man had also pain. Now all pain went away after just one prayer! Why sometimes at once and sometimes after 7-times? I don’t know, but we’re commanded to pray for the sick, so that’s what I do. Sometimes it’s all about perseverance… do we go on believing, etc…
We met some Muslims. One of them had a lot of pain. He had a head ache. (10/10). One prayer and all his pain was gone. I started sharing the Gospel with cups (visual explanation-). The guy with his pink jacket was a Christian too and I believe he had heard the story already (because he know a lot). His Muslim friends heard it also and that was good. At least everyone of them had seen the power of Jesus. After a while we left them. What a nice meeting!
I could still share the cups with one girl who said she was a believer too. She was baptised on her 15 in some church camp. Still I explained her the Gospel in a visual way. Named: “the cups”. I had to be a bit creative but I succeeded in telling the story with a minimum of objects. Eventhough she didn’t jump for joy, I believe we can’t do wrong with helping people to understand what the Gospel is really all about.
The next day we met again and now a second brother joined our group. Pity nobody got healed when we searched for some people with pain.
I met a girl with pain in her tows but her pain didn’t go away. At least that’s what she said. Sometimes people don’t get healed because … (reasons), on other occasions people lie that they’re not healed because they can’t believe what just happened. And on other times people experience an amazing healing.
Jesus commanded us to pray for the sick. So if you see a sick/hurting person. The least what you can do is offering to pray! Maybe you think you don’t have enough faith yet, but it can only grow by using it so let’s start using our “faith muscle” 😀
Blessings to all!
