Maandag 23.07.17, No Reiki, Jesus!

When I went to the shop today I came across a woman who asked me if I knew some English? … Aha, this was interesting. I said, “yes”. She said she was from Canada and asked me the way to some old factory. I told her what I knew and she thanked me. I asked her if I could also ask her a question? “Yes”, she said, so I asked her if she had any pain in her body. She said she had some pain in her stomach. When she got healed after I prayed twice for her she asked me if it was Reikki? I said, “No, this is Jesus!”. I pray in the name of Jesus. I asked her if she knew something of Christianity and she said “yes, I believe too”. I told her that that was amazing but after I asked her if she was then baptised. She said “no” so I explained her why it was so important to be baptised. I gave her one of my contact cards and told her that she had to watch some of the links and contact me if she had any question. She said she would and she left with a smile on her face.

When I went into the small shopping centra I went to search for a broom. I didn’t find it so I asked one of the workers if she knew where I could find a broom. A girl from the shop explained me where to find it. I thanked her and asked asked her if she had any pain? She looked at me and said that she had some pain in her neck. “Why”? I asked her if I could pray for her because when I pray for people many people got healed. Not because of me but because of Jesus who heals the people through all his followers. She said I could pray and I prayed four times before all her pain left. I gave her my contact card and told her that she had to contact me if she wanted to know more about the eternal life Jesus wants to give her. This won’t happen automatically and that’s what I or my wife can explain you. We would gladly tell you more about it. She was very open and listened with all her attention but was working so I left her quiet quickly. I hope she contact us!

When I passed pizza buffet I saw a very young girl with crutches so I went to her and asked her what had happened. Her grandmother (who was with her) was very happy when she heard that I wanted to pray for her. I have prayed before for people who were walking with crutches and got totally healed so I knew that Jesus could heal her totally but the girl said (a bit confused) that it still hurted after the grandmother and me prayed for her. I left her quiet quickly because I saw that she didn’t feel very comfortable and actually wanted to say “no” (when asked if it still hurted) before really testing it. It was hard because I couldn’t really say and ask everything I wanted because of the language barrier. Anyway, I’m send out to find “persons of peace”(see Luke 10) so I had to move on. Sadly this wasn’t a person of peace but for the grand mother this could have been an encouragement to see that there were still young people who were taking the gospel around and were praying for the sick. I left her and her grandmother who had a smile on her face.

When I returned home I still spoke with a girl that I passed. She looked very open and interested but was on her way to work. I reminded her that she had to go to work and said that she should “Cheque the links and give me a message if you want to know more and meet up”! She nodded and went on her way.
18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matt. 28:18-20)

Everyone of us is different! Does everyone has to go on the streets? No; I don’t think so! Does everyone has the assignment to make disciples? Yes, but “how and where” you do this is up to you 😀

Let’s share God’s power around everywhere we see an opportunity! Remember, He is with us everywhere we go!
