On Wednesday I got positive vibes by reading 2Timothy2:15 “ Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” (NKJV). Rightly dividing the word of truth! Yes, that’s what I want to do, telling everybody about the power of Jesus, showing an example, baptising them with water and Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey everything Jesus taught his disciples.
I wanted to go on the streets but first I would read my bible! Reading the bible is so important! By reading and studying the Bible we get to know who God is, we can listen to what he wants to tell us, etc…

When I had read my bible I went to the shop and approached some youngsters who were having their morning break. I spoke to them, one of them recognised me and told me that he had seen me praying for one of his friends. I asked him, “and did he got healed? Yes”. Isn’t it amazing I replied. He said with a cold voice, “yes”. His friend had a brace so I asked if he had pain. The friend said “yes”. On a scale of ten, how much pain do you experience at the moment. ” 5 on 10 I would say”. I asked him if I could pray for him on which he agreed.
FIRST PRAYER: Nothing changed!
SECOND PRAYER: Only a 2/10 was left!
THIRD PRAYER: 0
Waaw! Nice, … or, … it seemed that I was more enthousiast then they were. They were having a pause so I said quiet quickly goodbye, seeing that they were not “open persons”, or “persons of peace”. What a pity! Another problem was also that the guy who got healed couldn’t speak English and my Finnish isn’t good enough (yet?). Maybe a reason to put some more effort into it!
When I went back home after my shopping I met a girl who looked quiet social so I approached her. She said she was a Christian (Lutheran = baptised as a baby) so I explained her that this was actually not what Jesus wanted us to do! We never see this being done in the bible! Also Jesus gave us an example by being baptised on his 30 years. We had a long but good talk. I gave her my contact card and told her that she had to contact me if she wanted to see what I was doing in Forssa. I didn’t ask her phone what I later on regretted! People don’t message so easely but for many it’s ok to be called. I pray that I’ll meet her again and will ask her phone number then. She lives very close to me so that would be easy to arrange something.
With this picture I just want to say that every one who calls himself a disciple of Christ is called to “Go out, make disciples of all nations by baptising them and teaching them to obey everything I commanded you”! (Math. 28:19-20) In Jesus Kingdom there is no place for people who only warm the bench in a church building. Jesus wants us ALL to go out and spread the gospel. Every body can do this in his own way, but at least do something! Don’t jus sit and wait until a special anointing comes on you. Jesus said, I have all authority! And in the Gospel of John we can read that Jesus says; “just as my Father has send me, so I am sending you”! (John 20:21). How did the father send Jesus? This we read in Lucas 4:18-19 we can read:
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.”
Jesus gave us some amazing tools to reach the nations, (healing is one of them); but it all starts with building a relationship with the Father and praying for your network! God will open up the situation for you in which you will be able to share about your faith! Be prepared to share!!
God be with you!!!
Love it Tim! Well done! So agree with you about going and making discipels.

Yes, it is so cool to reach out to people and tell about our Lord Jesus. What is even more amazing is that we can show them an example who this Jesus is when they have any pain. Then we pray and after 1, 2, … short commands most people feel relieve/are totally healed! This is AMAZING! 😀
