Life is getting a bit more exiting as I’m becoming a dad in a week or two 🙂 This doesn’t mean that I stop with spreading the gospel but it does mean that I spend more time with my wife as she is on a pregnancy leave.
Whenever I go to some grocery stores or we go together to the family of my wife and I see some opportunities to share some gospel I take it with both hands. There is joy in sharing Jesus with others!
Since I have been kickstarting our friend from Belgium who came for a 10-day visit I have been talking to different people about Jesus but nobody had pain. It’s not that I go around to heal people because people can also visit a doctor but it is so much more effective to talk about Jesus when people get healed by Him! I love to boast about Jesus so when I ask people if they have pain I almost hope they have some kind of pain so I can show them that Jesus is alive!
Yesterday I went out with Thomas to search for people to talk to about Jesus. Thomas is our friend from the little house church we started together. He lives very close so I can always ask him, when he has time to go out together! Together we have already seen some nice things! 😀 Today we went out together in Forssa, our neighbourhood!
We visited some grocery stores and walked a bit around and found some people who were open to hear more about the gospel. It is easy to pray for healing and to share gospel after they got healed but when they have no pain it is not so easy to continue talking about Jesus without them rejecting you(r message) very soon. Anyway we were walking around in the Prisma store and I saw someone I had prayed for before who had gotten healed. He was a believer too and had moved from the US to Finland 10-years ago. He also said that he quiet regularly prayed at his house for others. We were happy to meet him and had a nice chat together.
When we said goodbye and looked at our clock and saw that it was time to go back to our wives. Sometimes you don’t find people who have pain but you always find people who are open to hear more about Jesus. We are representing Jesus to them! This is also were Peter is talking about in 1 Peter 2:9
“But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvellous light!”
We shouldn’t be afraid to speak about our Lord Jesus!!
