We all get older and with it also the way we define our disciple life!
Having a baby (now 10 months old) changes my responsibilities! Instead of going around everywhere (for example: South Africa or on the streets of Edinburgh) searching for “a person of peace” I nowadays catch the opportunitie(s).
While going to shop or having visitors coming over (Anni is always ready to stay with Elias while I would go on the streets together with our friend(s) who like to do this kind of POWER evangelisation.) Friends who like to see my approach, friends who like to have some more experience in street evangelism, or friends who just like to have a look how I do this).
Today my wife and I went to some shops and while my wife was going in the last supermarket I waited on her standing outside the supermarket while I was approaching some people and asking them if they had pain.
The last person (an 40-y old) woman said she had pain in her back. Her daughters went quickly away. After the first prayer nothing changed but after the second it was already much better. Still one prayer and now all her pain was gone.
This woman said that after the third prayer all her pain had left but was still doubting! She has to go and left me with a big smile saying that she would look to the link(s) I gave her and went quickly to catch her daughters 🙂
Hallelujah! We can’t make the decision (to follow Jesus) for them but we can/ and should all testify of the living hope we have!
Jesus is comming back! Paul says “Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time. Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.” Colossians 4:5-6
